Adam Peake serves as a senior visiting researcher at Keio International Center for Internet and Society. He advocates noncommercial participation in ICANN’s multistakeholder model.

While charitable organizations are struggling with new restrictions due to the pandemic, Summit team member Adam Peake hasn’t let that stand in his way: using his company provided volunteer time off he’s been providing Meals on Wheels deliveries in Strasburg Colorado.

Early Life and Education

Adam Peake is an American jazz musician, composer and vocalist. He founded and fronted funk/jazz project Earsight which released two critically-acclaimed albums and received radio play in its native Greenville community; additionally he led Greenville Jazz Collective Big Band as their leader.

Peake voiced the character of Buzz Lightyear in a new film and describes himself as similar to an experienced fast jet test pilot who works alone. Additionally, he notes his wish for an app which could assist crew members in understanding where on Earth they’re viewing scenes from.

Tim began his career as a disc jockey, and since 1993 has presented shows on BBC Radio Wales. Additionally, Tim is part of Mold-based indie band The Immediate as well as being resident DJ at Telford’s Warehouse in Chester.

Professional Career

Adam Peake serves as Civil Society Engagement Senior Manager for ICANN and oversees relations between civil society organizations, academia and non-commercial participants in its multi-stakeholder model. Since the early 90s, Adam has been actively participating in policy making around deployment and development of the Internet.

He holds a BSc. in Geophysics from the University of Calgary and has extensive experience using geophysical software for subsurface exploration, such as electrical resistivity imaging (ERI), capacitively coupled resistivity methods and fixed frequency electromagnetic methods (e.g. EM31).

Peake has an extensive background in sales and marketing for consumer products, most recently as Executive in Residence at Loyola University Maryland Sellinger School of Business and Management.

Achievement and Honors

Peake graduated from the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and went on to become a helicopter flying instructor and platoon commander before training at Empire Test Pilots’ School, Boscombe Down. Since then he has amassed more than 3,000 hours of flying time across different aircraft types.

Peake was accepted into the European Space Agency’s astronaut program in 2009 and began training for his Principial Mission which launched on December 15, 2015 aboard Soyuz TMA-19M with two crewmates, American astronaut Tim Kopra and Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko.

Peake participated in 250 scientific experiments during his time in space and conducted one spacewalk. In addition, he voiced characters for animated movies such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Zootopia.

Adam Peake is an American actor, creator, voice actor, YouTube personality and content producer best known for his videos and podcasts on gaming as well as work for Rooster Teeth. Additionally he is known for acting and theatre roles he has performed.

He has extensive professional experience working for several major consumer brands, such as Under Armour. This includes executive positions in sales and marketing.
