Early Life and Education

Allen Jackson was born on 17 October 1958 in Newnan, Georgia in the USA and attended both Local Street Elm Elementary and Newnan High Schools to complete his education. At first his life revolved around gospel music while other forms of music escaped his notice.

Country music soon changed his life. He began writing songs and then moved to Nashville to make country music an international phenomenon – working for The Nashville Network along the way. Later he founded World Outreach Church as senior pastor. Today his ministry reaches over 15,000 people through online streaming, TV broadcasts, radio programs, books and his ministry outreach ministry! Additionally he serves on the Boards of Navistar engine group and Lurie Children’s Hospital Boards of Directors.

Professional Career

Allen established Whatever You Do as a resource for products and information related to management methodology, corporate culture and vision in the 1990s. Additionally, he lectures as part of OSU-Tulsa MBA programs on contemporary management issues.

Jacks returned home and began work for Chandler Frates and Reitz agency before purchasing it in 1984 to form his own firm – later known as CFR Insurance Services in the mid 1990s. It became one of the leading agencies in its region.

Jacks served as an associate architect with Edward Durrell Stone in Los Angeles and Palo Alto, contributing to projects including Stanford Medical Center design. Carlson Terrace campus housing, Sigma Nu fraternity house and St Joseph Catholic Church designs also fall within his expertise.

Achievement and Honors

Allen has also shown great generosity through philanthropy. He co-founded the 2014 Alzheimer’s Memory Gala in Tulsa and currently sits on various boards for local organizations including Philbrook Museum, Thoreau Foundation and Mayo Science and Technology Foundation as well as supporting Tulsa Metro Chamber Joint Committee on Educational Excellence and Green Country Boy Scouts.

In 2017, Jacks was honored with the Killian Award, the highest accolade bestowed upon faculty at MIT. According to his citation, Jacks has transformed and expanded MIT’s cancer research community by unifying cultures, languages, research agendas and cultures between biology and engineering research – creating an integrated community focused on finding insights and solutions against cancer; his efforts are already producing promising clinical results.

Personal Life

Mattie Denise and Alexandra Jane, his daughters. Additionally, he owns a home in Nashville and has received many honors throughout his career, such as having Interstate 85 named in Newnan after him.

He found his break when his wife came across country music icon Glen Campbell waiting for a flight, who assisted in setting him up. Even better yet, Glen even connected him with Arista Records!

He has become a household name in the music industry with songs like Blue Blooded Woman, Dallas and Love’s Got a Hold On You. His success serves as an inspirational role model to others in the business – yet he is still going strong today!
