The talented young dancer began her training at nine years old. She enrolled at The Dance Club in Orem, Utah, and specialized in ballet, jazz, and tap. She performed in the opening ceremony of the 2002 Winter Olympics and won a number of dance titles. She won her first National competition in 2004 and was later named the National Senior Outstanding Dancer by the New York City Dance Alliance. After graduating from the University of Utah, Holker worked in New York City and continued her training at the Ballet Studio.
Holker has since gone on to become an Emmy-nominated choreographer. She is nominated for Outstanding Choreography at the Primetime Emmy(r) Awards with Derek Hough, and she performed in two other nominated pieces. Holker has also appeared on television shows and concert tours. In addition to her work in the arts, Holker is known for her appearances on popular reality show So You Think You Can Dance. She was a competitor in season 2 and became an all-star in seasons 7 and 11.
