While attending school in Connecticut, Cayleigh Griffin had an internship in the sports section of the Stamford Advocate newspaper. She decided then to pursue a career in sports broadcasting. She continued her education at Providence College (a private Catholic university), where she received a Bachelor in Arts in Humanities and a Minor in Film and Video. She was active in the school’s Multi-Cultural Club, the Ambassadors Club, and the National Honor Society. While in high school, Cayleigh interned at The Stamford Advocate.
Griffin has worked for many major networks since her graduation from the University of Connecticut. She hosted Spurs Live, a pregame show on FOX Sports Southwest, as well as handling sideline duties for home games. Griffin covers the Austin Spurs’ G-League team in addition to covering NBA games. She also covered the 2018 playoffs and the NBC-G winner. At present, Griffin is working for ESPN.
