Cedars Sinai New Grad RN Program

The Cedars Sinai New Grad Nursing Program is a great opportunity for new graduates to begin a career as RNs. This program provides 12 weeks of paid training as well as the unique opportunity to learn from nurses who have been there before. The program also provides a competitive salary and benefits package.

Cedars-Sinai offers two types of retirement plans. A new grad RN is eligible to receive a full-time salary of $94,095 and is eligible to receive up to $110,000 in annual compensation. The hospital offers generous retirement benefits in addition to a competitive salary.

New-graduate RNs begin with an 8-week precepted clinical orientation. During this time they will be working on a regular basis with their preceptor. They will then be assigned to a permanent position in a medical/surgical unit. Throughout the rest of their program, new-grads will participate in a number of workshops that include didactic learning, hands-on skills training, simulated experiences, and group work. As they progress in their education, new-grad nurses will be eligible for specialty internships and other divisions.

Applicants must have at least a BSN and have less than nine months of hospital-based experience. They must also hold current ACLS and BLS certifications. They should also have a current California State Registered Nurse license. Before they can start their program, applicants will need to have their California Registered Nurse License.
