Dan Scavino’s Telegram Channel Is Filled With Fake News

Dan Scavino Jr., the director of social media for President Donald Trump, has been sharing fake videos with Vice President Mike Pence and President Trump. In response, the airport quickly removed the tweets and corrected Scavino’s error. In reality, the video was actually taken in August of this year, when the airport in Mexico City flooded. The video was also shared on El Weso Radio and the Miami International Airport’s Twitter feed.

Unfortunately, Telegram channels are rife with scams. Telegram software can flag spam but operators still need to monitor the channels to ensure they are free from spam and ads. Scavino’s Telegram channel is a prime example, as it has more spam than most. His channel is full of ads for bitcoin and work-from-home opportunities, despite the fact that he was previously a social media director for the former President.
