Early Life and Education
Dan Pickett hails from Troy, New York. After attending Mechanicville High School he earned a degree from RPI in Industrial and Management Engineering and currently sits on both Albany Medical Center’s board of directors as well as Albany Medical College’s advisory councils.

In 2008, Pickett won the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex Joe Greene Great Performance Award – presented annually to players who have made outstanding contributions on the field of play – joining such greats as Kordell Stewart and Ben Roethlisberger as recipients of this honor.
