Daniel Pickett is co-founder and CEO of Aptihealth. He joined from Hudson River Capital Holdings – one of Aptihealth’s founding investors – as President before going on to serve Zones, an $2.4B global IT firm which acquired nfrastructure which he co-founded.

Dan Pickett hails from Troy, New York. After attending Mechanicville High School he earned a degree from RPI in Industrial and Management Engineering and currently sits on both Albany Medical Center’s board of directors as well as Albany Medical College’s advisory councils.

Additionally he sits on the Advisory Council for nfrastructure as an investor and was one of the original investors of Hudson River Capital Holdings.

Dan has extensive experience defending insurance carriers against claims brought by plaintiffs, such as bad faith and coverage litigation. Additionally, he advises insurance carriers on coverage matters and claims handling procedures.

Pickett has distinguished himself in more ways than one; aside from being an esteemed Marine Corps leader, he has also proven to be an outstanding and caring citizen. He served on the board of Gilda’s Club Capital Region New York and as an active member of National Military Family Association; additionally he received multiple awards and honors such as Defense Meritorious Service Medal for his dedication.

In 2008, Pickett won the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex Joe Greene Great Performance Award – presented annually to players who have made outstanding contributions on the field of play – joining such greats as Kordell Stewart and Ben Roethlisberger as recipients of this honor.

Pickett is co-founder and President of Aptihealth, a behavioral health engagement company. Prior to this role, he served as President of Nfrastructure which was acquired by Aptihealth in 2015. Furthermore, he founded and served as CEO of Hudson River Capital Holdings which provided private investments.

He and his wife Jennie are proud parents to two sons and daughters. He serves as assistant scoutmaster for Troop 320 in Mountain Brook, Alabama; is a trustee at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; board member at nfrastructure; Pickett Family Foundation and Albany Medical Center;

Dan Pickett made an appearance on Lost as one of the Others, serving as a quarry supervisor who may have had something to do with Karl’s punishment and meeting Sawyer, Kate and Juliet along the way before suddenly dying on Day 73.
