Early Life and Education
Daniel Stultz graduated from Williamsburg High School, playing clarinet in their marching band. Additionally, he worked at Pratt-Whitney of Hartford CT where he employed. Now retired from this field of work he enjoys spending time with his wife Phyllis as well as traveling and dining out together – they both love animals and share numerous pet dogs!
Dan Stultz will enter this year’s campaign despite back pain that sidelined him during his junior campaign at Ohio State with 40 career field goals, giving him a shot at becoming the record holder among Buckeye kickers, while possibly breaking Big Ten all-time records as well.
Dr. Daniel Stultz, MD resides in San Angelo and practices internal medicine at Shannon Clinic in Texas. He holds a board certification in Internal Medicine from UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS HEALTH SCIENCE CENTER/DENTAL SCHOOL and accepts multiple insurance plans.
Professional Career
Stultz has held his current position of Senior Manager, Supply Chain Materials Management with Pioneer Natural Resources, an Energy, Utilities & Waste provider for 10 years.
Ohio State kicker Matt Mansfield Madison holds nearly every school kicking record imaginable, including an iconic 53-yarder against Mansfield Madison in 1993 that earned him Ohio State the longest field goal ever attempted in their history. Expect him to be one of the standout kickers in Big Ten play this season.
He brings over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, having worked at Grubb and Ellis, Martin Smith Inc and CBRE among others. When meeting clients he combines drive with confidence and humility; an invaluable asset for their businesses and individuals alike.
Achievement and Honors
Stultz earned two all-district honors in track and field during his high school career and made 15 quarters’ worth of the honor roll list. Additionally, Orrville advanced to both state semifinals of track and football during this time.
Ohio State recruited Jonathan at Ohio State to be one of the best kickers in college football, and he has certainly delivered. Currently ranked eighth-leading scorer with 251 points to his name and on track to break Tim Williams’ single-season field goal record set during 1990-93 – Williams recorded 49 field goals during that season alone!
Daniel Stultz has been honored for his contributions to American hospitals and healthcare systems through receiving the American Hospital Association Honorary Life Membership Award at an event in Washington DC in May 2016. This honor recognizes individuals who share its mission and values.
Personal Life
Stultz enjoys welding projects and knife making in his free time, along with being an enthusiastic scuba diver and traveler. He currently resides with his wife in Georgetown, Texas and was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2007. Additionally, deep brain stimulation was performed.
At Ohio State, he became their leading place kicker. While attending Orrville High School he earned all-district and all-state honors as both football players and track athletes.
Stultz earned first-team All-American honors in 1998 and also received the Lou Groza Award, honoring college football’s best place kicker. Today he serves as President/CEO of Shannon Health System; having been involved with healthcare and medicine for 28 years prior.
