On October 26, 2022, Deputies responded to a report of a body found at Conesus Lake Outlet located in Lakeville and located that of Daniel Wnuk, 75 years old and from Lakeville resident who had passed away shortly before arrival. Sheriff Investigator Connor Sanford conducted the investigation and charged Daniel Wnuk with failing to register as a Registered Level Two Sex Offender; Wnuk was taken into custody but later released under his own recognizance.

He is the proud parent of two children. In high school, he played soccer at Lincoln High School where he earned honorable mention as a senior. This led the Trojans to four district finals!
