Science of early development has demonstrated that high-quality care and education from birth to age eight is crucial for a child’s health, learning, and overall well-being. Studies have even found evidence to support this theory: children who receive good early childhood experiences are less likely to grow up in poverty, drop out of school, have behavioral problems, or require special education later in life.
