David Carl Bakanowsky, 56, of Winter Springs, Florida, Passes Away

On Saturday, Camden Catholic won its second state title in three years with an exciting 56-51 (OT) win against Seton Hall Prep. Will Bakanowsky (17 points), Nick Cangelosi and Pete Adams led the charge for the Irish.

Early Life and Education

David Bakanowsky was born and raised in Gibbsboro, NJ and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Drexel University as well as a minor in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin. He has made his mark in high tech as both a software engineer and consultant; excelling at understanding what his clients want from life and making it happen. When not working, David enjoys relaxing with a glass of wine or reading a good book – the best part being that this work is free!

Professional Career

David Bakanowsky has an extensive career in the finance industry. His expertise spans across mergers & acquisitions, investment banking, and more.

He has also launched his own podcast called “Finance Career Launch.” This show is tailored towards young financial professionals and offers advice for building a career in the finance world.

David initially started his podcast as a leadership success show, but quickly discovered that it had become more about learning about himself than imparting wisdom to others.

David holds that inquisitiveness and communication are two essential characteristics for success in business. He’s not afraid to express himself and share his ideas, while also advocating for women’s rights.

Personal Life

David Bakanowsky, 56 of Winter Springs passed away on Thursday May 5, 2022. Survived by his wife Nancy (nee Heron); children Bonny Eppelheimer, Barbara Fowls, Donald William “Dutch” Baker and Kelly Galligan; sister Dale Ray and 13 grandchildren; served in the Air National Guard from 1961-98 and owned Haddonfield Lumber Company from 1962-1998 – growing it into South Jersey’s number one lumber supplier during this time. Additionally he was active within his community too – receiving friends on Sunday from 3-7 PM at Bradley Funeral Home located at Rt 73 South & Evesham Rd in Marlton where there will be a memorial service held Monday at 11:30AM at the funeral home.
