Joshua David Duhamel was born November 14th 1972 in Minot North Dakota to Bonnie L. Kemper (retired teacher and local businesswoman) and Larry Duhamel (an advertising salesman). He grew up with three younger sisters: Ashlee Kemper, Kassidy Kemper and McKenzie Kemper whom he lived with after his parents separated when he was still young.

Duhamel made his film debut with 2004’s Win a Date With Tad Hamilton! and later appeared as Captain William Lennox in all three installments of the Transformers film franchise.
