David Hightower is a Texas-based real estate professional who helps buyers, sellers and investors realize their dreams.
He was previously an executive vice president and chief development officer for Wolff Companies, a Houston-based investment and land development firm.
Early Life and Education
The Hightower family trace its roots back to Virginia’s Northern Neck region. Their first records can be found in Richmond County Court Order Books for 1698 and North Farnham Parish Registers from the early 1700s.
On the establishment of Methodist Episcopalism in 1784, the family converted to this denomination. Their descendants were named for their father’s friend Bishop James Osgood Andrew of Oxford, Ga., whom they had become close to during their childhood years.
They settled in Clarke County, Georgia on Bear Creek and McNutts Creek of the Oconee River. Deed records reveal their land had been divided into several tracts and each subdivided into multiple lots.
Professional Career
Hightower has spent most of his professional career in sports. He began as a running back for the Arizona Cardinals during his time playing in the NFL.
He appeared in 12 games for the team during the 2008 season, compiling 143 carries, 399 rushing yards and scoring 10 touchdowns on the ground.
Hightower also coaches track and field at Air Force University, overseeing their sprint and relay athletes.
He has guided his sprinters to two Mountain West titles and three additional all-conference finishes. Additionally, ECAC All-East honorees in sprints, hurdles and jumps were earned by his squad.

Dave Hightower has worked tirelessly throughout his life to reach many of his objectives. As a member of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians and board-certified emergency physician, he has earned several leadership roles within Emergency Medicine.
He is a certified firefighter and has earned several awards for his dedication to the community.
He has served on various boards of directors, such as ASHRAE and the Georgia Society of Professional Engineers, earning him recognition by Tau Beta Pi as an Eminent Engineer.

During his first season at the Academy, he guided his sprinters to two Mountain West titles and three additional all-conference finishes. Furthermore, Hightower led them to 20 improvements in their all-time top 10 standings in sprints and relays events.
