Denny Hamlin Interview After Today’s Race

When it comes to racing, Denny Hamlin has had it all. He has won the Cup Series title twice, he has made the playoffs with consistent results, and he has also been involved in some wild moments during his 18-year career. But he has had his fair share of issues and hasn’t always been able to get his car in top shape.

During the regular season, Hamlin’s car wasn’t up to par. It had trouble with the pit stops and overheating. Then in the playoffs, Hamlin experienced issues with tire changes and pit stops. On the plus side, his team made it to the championship round, where he finished third. However, Hamlin wasn’t able to finish the season in style.

During the postseason, JGR swapped the pit crews of the 11 car for Kyle Busch’s No. 18. This was due to pit road problems that caused some penalties for the 11 team.

Despite the swap, Denny Hamlin was able to finish the season with a 10th place finish in the final race of the season. That was good enough to move him up to fifth in the playoff standings, a position he held all season. His car was fast and he had a solid car, but he ran into some issues during the season.

At Texas Motor Speedway, Denny Hamlin was involved in a very strange incident. His car hit the wall after contact from Chase Elliott. Interestingly, Denny was leading the field with 20 laps to go. After a caution, Hamlin spun off. One of the other drivers involved in the incident was William Byron. Byron wasn’t penalized, but the incident was missed by the officials.

Other than the incident, Denny Hamlin had a pretty good weekend. He picked up three top-10 finishes, including a victory at New Hampshire. In his interview, Hamlin said the most impressive part of the day was making it into Championship 4. He has not won a race since June, but he has been strong at the superspeedways.

Those are just a few of the highlights of Hamlin’s season. In addition to his wins at New Hampshire and Martinsville, he has been in the top-five at all three of the remaining races. Although he hasn’t had a top-10 finish since October, he’s been able to pick up some valuable points. With one more race left, Hamlin should be in a good position to win his first championship since 2012.

During the off-season, Hamlin is involved in a reorganization plan for Joe Gibbs Racing. As part of that plan, he is reportedly getting involved in the re-design of the Next Gen car. However, this is not something that can be rushed, as it has multi-year contracts with suppliers.

The biggest problem Hamlin has had this season has been the tire problems. In the regular season, his car was good enough to win, but he has had issues with the tires. There have been many instances where he has hit the wall and gotten into a spin.
