Drake Summer 16 Tour Shirt

Drake’s Summer 16 Tour Shirt

During his summer tour, a rapper whose name is Drake was seen wearing a shirt that is a product of a brand called Stone Island. The brand is known for its custom pieces that are worn by celebrities. These custom pieces have become a popular trend for celebrities, especially for those who prefer to wear a shirt without any logos.

OVO brand collaborations

Throughout his career, Drake has collaborated with several different companies. From Nike to Jordan to Canada Goose, he has worked with a variety of brands that have all contributed to his booming brand.

In addition to his own clothing line, Drake’s OVO brand has been tapped by Jordan Brand for a variety of co-branded projects. This includes the Air Jordan 12 Retro, Jordan 8 Retro, and a luggage bag. The collection was released in October. It features OVO’s signature gold colorway. The sneaker’s soles feature “VIEWS,” which is the word used to describe the shoe.

The brand also recently announced their collaboration with Canadian hip-hop artist Cardi B. She will serve as the brand’s Creative Director in Residence. This collection includes apparel, accessories, and jewelry.

Drake’s OVO brand also teamed up with Canada Goose for a limited-edition collection of sweatpants, t-shirts, and sweaters. This collection is available for $58 to $698 on the Roots flagship store.

Custom Tom Ford

During his summer 16 tour, Drake flexed his style quotient at a high altitude. The aforementioned custom Tom Ford tuxedo included a white French cuff shirt, black onyx cufflinks, and a pair of Gianni leather boots.

Obviously, Tom Ford is not the only brand that’s got the goods. OVO tapped the services of Nike, Jordan Brand, Canada Goose, and Takashi Murakami, among others. They’ve even produced their own line of mini lipsticks. The most recent round of goods are currently being sold at their arena stand during world tours.

The most expensive Tom Ford tuxedo might be difficult to find, but the brand has done a good job of producing a more affordable option. The brand also has a new collection of t-shirts for the active minded millennial. The aforementioned t-shirt is made from moisture-wicking fibers and comes in classic white. The t-shirt is also available in sizes XS to 5XL.

Besides the custom Tom Ford tuxedo, Drake’s ensemble also included a custom ice-gray swooping tie and an impressive pair of cufflinks. The best part is that they aren’t the typical blingy diamonds. They’re actually made of the same fabric as a pair of high-end Swiss cufflinks.

Stone Island

Despite its humble beginnings, Stone Island has become a cultural powerhouse. This fashion brand has gained a lot of buzz in the U.S., thanks to celebrity endorsements. Some of the more popular names in hip hop have been sporting Stone Island clothing, from A$AP Nast to Travis Scott. The brand has even opened a flagship store in Los Angeles. This store features a 3,000 square foot gallery space.

The brand has a strong London feel to it. This may explain why it has a large following of aspiring hip hop stars. Some say the brand’s biggest selling point was its products, but the brand has also distanced itself from its unsavoury clientele.

During the summer of 2015, Stone Island opened its first flagship store in Los Angeles. The store features a retrospective exhibition on reflective materials. This was the brand’s first step in securing a home in the U.S. A month later, the brand opened a store in New York.

Jordan Brand

Earlier this year, Jordan Brand and Drake teamed up to release the “OVO” Air Jordan 12. The sneaker features white and gold colorways, as well as a Jumpman logo and faux stingray toe box. The sneakers are available at Drake’s OVO flagship store in Toronto, as well as on the Nike SNKRS app.

The Air Jordan 12 was first mocked up in black and white colorways. It then made its public debut at the NBA All-Star Weekend.

In September, Jordan Brand released a white pair of the OVO Jordan 12. The sneaker features the “Jordan 23” logo, as well as OVO branding on the heel and midsole. The sneakers are limited to a very small release.

Drake’s October’s Very Own clothing line has also been tapped by Jordan Brand for co-branded projects. The line is recognized outside of Canada as a streetwear label. The line launched in house-designed goods in 2011.

The Jordan Brand line includes a wide variety of colorways, including black and white, Chicago Away, Chicago Home, Midnight Navy, Black/Gold, and Camo.
