Jazz Composer – Ethan Bley

In the last half of the 20th century, jazz musicians have been able to create music in many ways, including composing, performing and recording. Many artists, including Ethan Bley, have done this with their respective talents. In addition to working on his own compositions, he’s also been active in collaborations with trumpet star Dave Douglas, Steve Doxas and Chet Doxas. The quartet, which was inspired by Giuffre, released two albums and featured Bley and the others.
