George Bollis, Architect of Old Sugar Mill Estates in Vero Beach, is Indicted of Molesting Two Children

In January, a 13-year-old told out-of-state investigators she had been molested by George Bollis for years. This information prompted Indian River County sheriff’s deputies to execute a search warrant at his home.

When detectives entered the home, they discovered hundreds of thousands of digital photographs and an additional victim, officials reported.

George Bollis has been accused of sexually assaulting two children. He is being held without bond in the Indian River County Jail and scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, May 22.

George Bobollis has always had a passion for creativity. He has been actively involved in several organizations such as Vero Beach Art Club and Indian River Photography Club, in addition to being an accomplished architect who designed several high-end homes.

He is an accomplished watercolorist and has been a member of the Indian River Photography Club since the 1980s. Additionally, he was previously involved with Vero Beach Art Club for many years. Additionally, he frequently speaks at events hosted by Indian River Photography Club and serves as judge for their photo contests.

On January 2019, a 13-year-old reported that George Bollis had molested him. This information was relayed to Indian River County Sheriff’s Office Detective Kelsey Zorc, who began an investigation. A search warrant was issued for Bollis’ home in the 1800 block of 10th Place and an additional search warrant was obtained for his office at 1945 20th Avenue.

On Tuesday, 71-year-old Vero Beach man George Bollis was arrested for three counts of sexual battery against minors and held without bond at Indian River County Jail. In January, 13-year-old told out-of-state investigators they had been molested by Bollis using modern technology; subsequent searches at his home produced hundreds of thousands of digital photos, according to a redacted arrest warrant.
