Early Life and Education

George sandals was a young man who worked several jobs to support his family. He homesteaded a farm in Kansas and worked ranches in New Mexico while saving money for college tuition. Through curiosity and eagerness to learn, George sandals was able to excel academically.

He also found time to study herbology and experiment with herbal remedies, earning him the title of “plant doctor” in his community. With his expertise, he taught local farmers how to boost their crops with appropriate fertilizer and pesticides and maintain healthy soil. A stroke of luck also brought him recognition such as Ohio’s Gilder Lehrman History Teacher of the Year Award and James Madison Foundation Fellowship to pursue a Master’s degree in American history and government.

Professional Career

George began racing as a kid, winning 10 junior national titles and two world medals. As an elite cyclist, he went on to achieve great success, taking home 17 Ronde van Vlaanderen races as well as placing second at the grueling Paris-Roubaix race.

He competed 17 times in the Tour de France and served as a domestique for Lance Armstrong, Alberto Contador and Cadel Evans during their successful Tours. Additionally, George won three U.S. National Road Race championships and placed second at both Giro d’Italia and Paris-Roubaix. Additionally, George developed and runs his own sports clothing line called Hincapie which he continues to run today alongside training his son.
