Chase Landry is an alligator hunter made famous through appearing on the History Channel series Swamp People. His family have worked in Louisiana’s swamps for generations, where his hunting skills and adventurous spirit are widely respected. Additionally he engages in shrimp fishing, moss peddling, and operating his family seafood business.
He has 12 years of coaching experience at both Breaux Bridge High and Southside Elementary schools in Lafayette Parish. On Tuesday he was named Lafayette Christian Academy head coach to replace Trev Faulk who resigned earlier in 2018.
Landry is widely credited with developing the 4-3-2 defense, in which two defensive tackles and a linebacker are stationed on either side of an offensive center to form the core of their 4-3 unit. This allowed the Giants to become one of the premier units in the league.
