Early Life and Education

Hebron Academy’s boys hockey program dates back to 1922 and the team boasts a proud tradition of excellence. Competing against some of New England’s premier schools such as Berwick Academy, Hebron Academy, Kents Hill School North Yarmouth Academy Pingree School Portsmouth Abbey Worcester Academy.

Bob Eichel and Anne Eichel have always shown him support throughout his professional athletic career. Additionally, his sister Jessie Eichel is also an accomplished hockey player.

Jack currently works for the Los Angeles Kings organization and has kept his personal life private, not dating anyone known to him. Recently he disclosed his sexuality and has received tremendous support from LA Kings personnel since their disclosure. Unfortunately his net worth remains unknown.

Professional Career

Jack Olsen from West Orange High School in New Jersey recently marked a remarkable accomplishment when he scored 100th career high school hockey point during the team’s 5-2 win over Mountain Lakes on Jan. 9 – marking one hundred career points earned in high school hockey!

The Cleveland Lumberjacks of the International Hockey League made a triumphant return to downtown Cleveland after 14 years when Larry Gordon brought his Muskegon Zephyrs (which had changed their name to Mohawks before finally Lumberjacks in 1984) back into town in 1992.

The Lumberjacks opened at Gateway’s Gund Arena with success, where they would remain until IHL disbandment following 2000-01 season. Unfortunately, fans soon became alienated from the club due to frequent affiliation changes which disrupted fan loyalty leading to attendance decline.

The Jacks opened their inaugural season in Cleveland with strong attendance and made the playoffs, going on to become perennial Stanley Cup contenders over 11 seasons.

After William Davidson purchased the IHL and cut its affiliation with the BlackJacks, their team became independent of its previous affiliation and became an independent organization. But shortly thereafter they managed to enter into an affiliation agreement with Tampa Bay Lightning which resulted in a longstanding and beneficial partnership between both organizations.
