Having spent the last twenty plus years of her life in Los Angeles, Jacqueline Rivera has become a household name. As well as starring in a number of award winning films, including The Get Down and The Man in the High Castle, she was also a recurring member of the cast of the popular series The Good Wife. As for her own achievements, she was awarded a Daytime Emmy for her work on the series.
Aside from her television starring roles, Jacqui has written a handful of screenplays and scripted movies. She has even appeared in the company of one of the most prolific film and television directors of all time, Baz Luhrmann. Aside from her acting and writing credits, she is also the creator of P-Valley, a science fiction series which will be making its debut on the Starz network in 2020. In the mean time, she is also busy promoting her latest hit as a producer on the Fox TV show Empire.
She is also the author of a book about the early days of Hollywood called The History of Hollywood, which is currently on sale in the UK. Lastly, she is the founder of Kat Buggy Productions, which is responsible for bringing to life the Starz branded P-Valley series. The first episode was a raging success and was followed by the second episode. The series aired eight episodes, each running for around sixty minutes. The second season was a flop and was cancelled. Despite this, it is still a highly anticipated series. Aside from its star studded cast, the series is produced by Khaliah Neal, Peter Chernin, and Jenno Topping.
