John Fakhoury is a Chicago-based leadership and empowerment coach, national speaker, consultant, mentor, teacher, and passionate about guiding others in finding, creating, and sustaining a career they love. After visiting Lebanon in September 2019, Fakhoury was detained and charged with decades-old murder and torture allegations that he denied. His health deteriorated while in custody, and he died Monday.
Early Life and Education
John Fakhoury was born and raised in Lebanon. His parents, Amel and Nyal, worked hard to give their son the best life possible.
After graduating from college, he moved to the United States and worked in financial services. But after two years, he became frustrated with his career.

He also helps launch internship initiatives at his alma mater to provide greater access to technology and ensure students are prepared for the world of work.
