He is survived by two sons, one daughter and their respective spouses as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a Navy vet and an avid philanthropist, always donating time and resources to his community. The best part of his life was being a father and grandfather. The biggest challenge was his blindness which he surmounted with the help of state-of-the-art assistive technology. The most important thing he learned is that he was a child at heart and enjoyed every moment of his life.
