Early Life and Education
Kayla Oliver lived in Shawhead with her parents Martin and Nicola. It was an unforgettable day when Martin and Nicola took their three girls – Kayla, Oliver, and Jorja – off to school for the first time, with tear-filled eyes as they waved them off at St Bernard’s Primary in St Louis Park.
Kaitlin and Kayla have always been close, sharing everything from playing tennis with their fathers during a night’s practice at Wimbledon to feasting on pizza in Whitby and studying abroad in Italy, to taking part in Gov Ball together.

Professional Career
Kayla Oliver has worked as an attorney in pharmaceutical and securities litigation practices at a national law firm. Additionally, she is a member of Texas Law Review as well as having clerked at both Southern District of Texas Court of Appeals and Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Since 2020, she has been with Bain Wealth Management, holding the Series 65 securities registration. Her ability to connect with clients and research new trends while upholding values and long-term goals remains at the core of everything she does.
Oliver served NCCU from 2003-06 as both defensive backs coach and recruiting coordinator, helping guide them to back-to-back Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) championships and NCAA Division II black college football national titles – 2005 and 2006. From 2007-10 he spent three seasons as outside linebackers coach at Southern University; leading them to two SWAC West division titles as well as an appearance in the SWAC championship game.
Achievement and Honors
Kayla earned the Excellence Scholarship for maintaining a high grade point average as a general studies student, serving on Honors programs, Botany club meetings and tutoring North Liberty students.
Oliver was an accomplished college runner himself, helping Stanford’s distance squad reach heights not seen for over a decade – such as finishing as NCAA runners-up in 2016 and 2017. Sean McGorty also received coaching under Oliver, winning an outdoor 5,000 meter national championship under Oliver’s tutelage.
Bela double majors in Criminal Justice and Psychology and has been honored with both Academic Excellence Awards and Service Excellence Awards for her academic prowess and passion for learning. Her dedication and involvement with community initiatives demonstrate her kindness towards humanity.
Personal Life
Kayla and Jared live in Athens where they are active members of Lake Baldwin Church. Together they are busy raising three boys: Josiah, Jude, and Asa – keeping busy but also enjoying spending time outdoors together as a family and staying active! Kayla holds her faith dear and enjoys sharing it with others while connecting with people and listening to their stories; Kayla considers herself an Enneagram 9 while recovering perfectionist!
Kayla Oliver, 31, was arrested after leading Decatur police officers on a vehicle pursuit. Officers stopped a vehicle matching up to what had been described to them by a concerned citizen near Highway 67 and Country Club Road but Oliver pulled away, leading officers on an extended chase through Limestone County before officers eventually disabled her vehicle near Hobbs Street in Athens – ultimately she was charged with attempted elusion, reckless endangerment and improper lane usage.

Oliver is an esteemed child artist in her country. She excels at dancing and acting while maintaining her academic pursuits – she enjoys spending time with friends as well. Oliver’s parents support and encourage her dreams and she feels supported and encouraged in all that she undertakes.
