During the development of Star Citizen, CIG has introduced a new concept called “ship loaners” to allow players with one ship to use another as a backup. The concept is intended to make the game more accessible to people who want to play multiple ships but don’t have the funds to buy all of them. However, loaner ships aren’t the best replacements for their original ship.
