Municipal Systems – The Backbone of Local Government

Municipal financial systems are the backbone of local government. In 2018, auditors recommended that the town replace its current system with a new one. The town received multiple bids for a new system. Four vendors submitted proposals to replace the current system. Currently, the town contracts with one vendor that only provides limited support services. The new system would allow the district to link its budget to the rest of the city’s budget.
