Napoleon Dynamite is a film about a zany family that has to deal with the challenges of life. However, this isn’t the only thing he’s got going for him. He also possesses the sexiest name in the business.

What exactly is Rex’s eight week program? Well, it’s a fairly comprehensive self defense system that revolves around a combination of strikes, juggles and maneuvers to disable an opponent. Aside from being a cool looking system, it’s effective. The best part is that it’s relatively easy to learn. In fact, it’s not so hard that you could become a whiz at it in a matter of days.

While it’s not exactly an actual martial art, the Rex Kwon Do is a fun way to pass the time and get a good work out in the process. In fact, you can even do the exercise while wearing your costume. That said, it’s still not recommended. If you are a true devotee of Rex’s style of martial arts, then you’re likely to find yourself at odds with the more traditional styles.

Obviously, it’s not as fun to go up against a Rex as it is to battle him. On the other hand, Rex’s martial arts skills are questionable at best. For instance, he’s not exactly a great teacher. His most famous adage is that “Nobody’s gonna be able to beat you, unless you try.” This is why it’s a good idea to be prepared. And while you’re at it, you might as well show off the name of the dojo your teacher taught you about.

Although the Rex Kwon Do isn’t the only one with a name, it certainly does the trick. To celebrate the film’s release in 2002, the makers of the movie threw a big bash that included the famous Rex Kwon Do as a centerpiece. They were even generous enough to let fans play with the props. Among other things, the event featured a mock UFC fight.
