Robert Pattinson’s Pink Wig
Whether you’re a fan of the Twilight series or not, there’s no denying that Robert Pattinson has a very unique style. From his gorgeous, blonde hair to his amazing blue eyes, his style reflects his unique personality. And it’s certainly worth noting that he has recently become even more famous for his pink wig, which he wears in his latest movie, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2. So, what’s the reason behind the wig?
a nod to Twilight’s Edward Cullen
During the shooting of Breaking Dawn – Part 2, Robert Pattinson had to wear a wig. The hairpiece was designed by Pattinson himself and he dubbed it the “Frankenstein’s monster.” Pattinson’s wig was made up of six different wigs combined into one. Pattinson wore the wig on set, but he did not wear it on the set of Eclipse or The Runaways.
Pattinson was not the only Twilight cast member to wear a wig, as Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene also had to wear wigs during their roles. In fact, many Twilight co-stars had to wear wigs for their supernatural roles, including Nikki Reed. The Twilight movie adaptations are some of the most popular films of all time. In fact, the Twilight saga has grossed more than $3.4 billion worldwide.
Pattinson has since moved past his Edward Cullen phase, but has been seen in many different hair styles. His latest hairstyle is a pastel pink wig. Pattinson has also cut his hair since the original shoot finished last year.
Pattinson is currently dating Kristen Stewart. He has also graced the cover of Wonderland magazine, where he referred to the theme of the magazine as “The Nature of Reality.” He told a reporter that he took the role of Edward Cullen seriously and that the Twilight series has helped him become a more “gender-fluid” person.
