Early Life and Education
Steven Eisen held his family at the forefront of his life. As a husband, father and grandfather he was deeply committed to their welfare – being actively involved with Jewish organizations as well as community service activities.
Mr. Watervliet also gave back to his hometown by coaching wrestling at the high school level for 14 years, helping many wrestlers reach state tournament.
Montgomery Bell Academy was his alma mater where he excelled as both national debate champion and varsity tennis team member. From there, he graduated with his Bachelors’ from Northwestern University before earning Law and Business degrees at Vanderbilt. Additionally, he held various honorary roles within Sigma Chi Fraternity such as Life Loyal Sig, Eagle Scout status and Life Loyal Sig status, becoming best-known for banking and financial services regulation practices.
Eisen has over three decades of experience in real estate practice and offers a diverse set of skills such as sales management, recruiting and mentoring as well as marketing and property valuation. He is known for his empathy as well as superior negotiation and communication abilities which combine with meticulous attention to detail to make him an exceptional broker/realtor and overall professional.
Eisen is well known in sports media circles for his stellar career as well as for being an exceptional father and husband. Although his personal life remains private, it’s evident that he values and cherishes his family members immensely.

Rich Eisen is an award-winning sports broadcaster who has led NFL Network’s special on-location coverage of the NFL Draft, NFL Scouting Combine and Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Weekend. Additionally, he hosts Monday through Friday’s Emmy-nominated Rich Eisen Show on NFL Network.
Eisen was widely respected as one of Nashville and beyond’s premier banking law specialists, earning her recognition on Best Lawyers 2021 as Nashville Financial Services Regulation Law “Lawyer of the Year.”
As an Eagle Scout, he demonstrated a tireless devotion to pro bono legal work. A founding shareholder of Baker Donelson and leader in its community outreach initiatives, he also served as delegate of the New Jersey Dental Association as well as being an active member of Monmouth-Ocean County Dental Society.
Steve Eisen is an accomplished musician who was featured as part of the 5th US Army Band based out of San Antonio and with Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps (official escort for President of United States in Washington, DC) for over 20 years. Additionally, he established a highly successful music teaching practice.
He is an avid reader and longstanding supporter of Jewish education and values. He has contributed articles for publications like Wall Street Journal, Jewish Week, Tablet and Huffington Post as well as blogs that focus on Jewish issues on his blog “On My Mind”.
Baker Donelson recognized him for his pro bono legal work by awarding him Nashville’s 2013 Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year title. With decades of experience collaborating with financial institutions and providing advice in banking and financial services law matters, he is considered an expert.
