Early Life and Education

On September 7th 2022, Nigeria’s Entertainment industry was left reeling after hearing of Music Executive Steve Spotlight’s passing. Tunde Ednut, one of the key influencers in Nigerian Media reported that Spotlight died peacefully while sleeping, showing no indications of illness or impairment.

Steve was raised on a ranch in Catawba County before attending school at South Mountain Community College to earn his degree in Agricultural Sciences. At SMCC he participated in undergraduate research which ultimately changed the trajectory of his life.

Steve Huston is a contemporary painter who has showcased his works at numerous gallery shows over the last decade. His pieces draw on traditional influences like Titian and Rembrandt while still possessing some of the homespun charm typical of American Tonalist art movements from early American Tonalism onwards.
