As an attorney, Ybarra specializes in class action litigation, intellectual property disputes and legal malpractice lawsuits. She has achieved outstanding successes both state and federal courts; among these victories are challenging California Proposition 8 and representing death row inmates.

She specializes in complex litigation – specifically high-stakes technology and privacy cases involving technology, the public health sector and hospitals. She has successfully represented both individuals as well as major corporations.

Ybarra has used his musical talents to support numerous charitable causes, such as three Surfrider Foundation benefit shows and events, March of Dimes, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as well as commercial spots, movies and television.

Universal Music Group/INgrooves licensed Ybarra’s song, “Love Love Love,” from his 2008 album with the same name to be used in an international marketing campaign by Jones and Sons Jewelry Promotion for Valentine’s Day 2012. Gavin DeGraw, Switchfoot, Hootie & the Blowfish and Sugar Ray have shared the stage with him over his career.

Jbara has made nearly 200 appearances on the CBS series Blue Bloods as New York City Police Commissioner Frank Reagan – as both head of both force and Reagan family – as well as guesting appearances in American Dad, Monk and Nurse Jackie.
