Steven Kozikoski Earns PrestoSports Goaltender of the Week Award
Ephs pressed into Laker defense but were unable to penetrate goalkeeper Steven Kozikoski for any scoring opportunities; ultimately he managed a shutout, marking his first of the season.
The Lakers scored an impressive victory against Williams College this weekend thanks to Steven Kozikoski, their junior netminder from Liverpool. On Saturday alone he recorded 24 saves, holding their opponents to just one power play attempt during their 3-0 triumphant win.
Professional Career
Steven currently works as Partnership Development Manager for Shore Capital, a microcap private equity firm focused on investing in companies with between $1-10 million of EBITDA. Prior to Shore, Steven served as National Accounts Manager for Redwood Logistics a Fortune 500 provider of multimodal transportation services and third-party logistics.
CORTLAND, N.Y. – Oswego State goaltender Steven Kozikoski had an exceptional game today against the #2 (PairWise) nationally-ranked Williams College Ephs. He made several key saves in traffic to help lead Oswego State to a 3-0 win and record his 29th post-season shutout win.

Achievement and Honors
Kozikoski joined the Lakers 2021-02 squad that earned an impressive 21-6-5 record and qualified for their inaugural NCAA Tournament appearance ever.
On the ice, Kozikoski was part of an effective defensive line. He would block shots to keep the Lakers in contention during a full period, which enabled his teammates to enter into offensive play more freely.
SUNY Geneseo came out strong early, scoring four goals within twenty minutes to force head coach Eric Green to replace starting netminder Steven Kozikoski with Alex DiCarlo’s goal from his stick in the third period. The Ephs would only score once during this contest.
Personal Life
CORTLAND, N.Y. – Steven Kozikoski was instrumental in Oswego State men’s ice hockey’s two wins this weekend against previously undefeated Williams College, earning PrestoSports Men’s Hockey Goaltender of the Week honors once more this season. Making 26 saves between Saturday’s 3-0 win and Sunday’s 3-2 triumph for Oswego State to improve to 5-3-1 overall on its season.
Steven was an active member of Hazardville Fire Department and de la Bahia Yacht Club of Stuart, FL as well as St. Bernard’s Church parishioner. He leaves behind a loving wife Teresa Graczewski; two loving sons Steven P. Graczewski and Robert Graczewski; five cherished grandchildren; sister Jennie Siemionko-Siemionko with husband Bob from Enfield as well as numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.
