Thom Goodyke – Career Ownership Coach at The Entrepreneur’s Source
Thom Goodyke currently works as a career ownership coach at The Entrepreneur’s Source and has been doing this job for several months now.
He and Julie, who also hails from Cascade Township, decided to open this location because they love the community. Additionally, there are locations of Graze Craze in Okemos and Shelby Township.
Early Life and Education
Thom Goodyke has been working as a Career Ownership Coach with The Entrepreneur’s Source for several months and holds a Bachelor’s degree.
Born and raised on a blueberry farm in Holland, Michigan he learned the value of neighborly friendship. Motivated to serve the community he spent many summers volunteering at local camps before graduating high school with plans to attend Calvin College with hopes of becoming a French teacher.
Goodyke served on the Township Board for twelve years and dedicated himself to improving lives within his community. He played an instrumental role in developing Cascade Library, Wisner Center, and Patterson Ice Arena – currently living at 7085 Burger Drive SE Grand Rapids MI 49546.
Thom Goodyke has long been giving back to the community. He spent 12 summers as director at local camps, as well as helping on blueberry farms during this time. Additionally, he served for nearly 20 years on Cascade Township Board helping improve this part of Washington state.
Goodyke and his wife Julie recently expanded Graze Craze franchise from its initial location in Oklahoma to Michigan where it currently boasts 41 franchise locations; The Goodykes hope to open more locations in the near future.
Achievement and Honors
Goodyke has been an invaluable member of Forest Hills Central School Board, working tirelessly to enrich his community through teaching, government work and involvement in local community groups. For 12 summers he directed Camp Henry as director and remains involved as grand marshal during their July 4th celebrations. With Ruthann by his side they are proud parents to five children: Kevin & Lori Goodyke; Michael & Julia Goodyke; Courtney & Brandon Goodyke; Missy & Caleb Hubert as well as LT Ford Meadows of Navasota Texas/NAF Atsugi Japan respectively LT Ford Meadows is the grand marshal during July 4th festivities!
Goodyke dedicates much of his free time not only to teaching and working in government, but also helping others. As an active member of the Holland/Zeeland Community Foundation he has given back through various projects; additionally he volunteers at local camps such as Camp Henry in Cascade Township for 12 summers as a camp counselor.
He is also an active member of Second Reformed Church’s music program, serving as middle school choir director at Caledonia Community Schools as well as providing accompaniment services for participants of Statewide MSBOA/MSSVMA 6-7-8-9 Honors Choirs.
Goodyke and Julie Goodyke recently celebrated the grand opening of a new Graze Craze location in 2022, having grown up nearby and taking great pride in creating their business within their community.
